Another solar panel pigeon proofing job completed.
We were recently called to a property where pigeons had regained access beneath the solar panels despite a previous bird-proofing installation.
On inspection, we found that the existing PVC-coated mesh system had failed, allowing birds to get back underneath the array and continue nesting.
We removed the failed proofing and installed our stainless steel anti-bird spike system, creating a durable barrier around the solar panels while maintaining airflow and access for maintenance.
Not all solar panel bird-proofing systems are created equal. The quality of the materials and, more importantly, the quality of the installation can make all the difference to the long-term effectiveness of the work.
