Started by clearing the over grown entrance and road to the site. Then stripped the top soil and stockpiled it in the corner of the site. The founds were then dug. Followed by the drains and septic tank. Once the scafolding was taken down the back filling i could start and the suface water drians, the soakaways were dug at the same time. The Garden was backfilled with the nice top soil that was stripped and the drive way was layed with recycled lockbock as a base layer and pink 40mm chips as the top. Finished by landscaping the garden and redoing the entrance road, with a camber, a drain and surfaced with tar plainings. Turned out really well.

The old sleeper stock bridge had collapsed and was slipping into the burn. Once uncovered it was clear that half the foundations were washed out and the other half weren't fit for purpose. So the whole thing was excavated and a culvert put in. Thankfully the burn was dry at the time. The sides were back filled with stone that was riddled out of the old bridge, and on each side two peaces of Green Heart welded together and concreted in formed the retaining wall. Rock armour was placed on the up stream side to prevent erosion. The middle was built up with sand and gravel and subase was used for the top layer. Railings were fitted and the fences reconnected, the left over soil was used to form a bund to stop the stock getting into the burn.

I was asked in to shift a burn on a site near Culloden in order to open the plot up for development. It wasn't a fast flowing thing by any means but the last thing you want is erosion towards the house or neighbours so i lined two of the major corners with small rock armour. As well as adding a bit of a decorative look it will stop any erosion in the future. I needed to remove six stumps which i thought would have been a bit of a job but turned out to be no bother for the 3cx. The end result.... i was pretty happy with.

Did a full refurbishment on a drive in Nairn with Rob White. Started by stripping back the old stones and terram as it was full of weeds and holes everywhere. Then broke out the old ramp to the drive that was actually a mix of half old kerbs and half concrete. Then concreted in a new ramp with a better lip to keep the stones in and the water off the road out. Laid new terram and a good new layer of white stone. Ended up with a really nice finish.

If your drive needs a touch up or a new surface and properly drained, then don't hesitate to get in contact they only get worse.

Loading up scrap and rubbish from an old pig farm. Then landscaped the bank i used for loading the lorries and levelled off the top soil round the back of the shed.

A weekend job up at Achamore cleaning out a ditch that was very full and overgrown and was overflowing into the field below. It was pretty wet underfoot but the old 3cx handled it no bother.
