Our most recent roof replacement, completed in Ystradgynlais 👷‍♂️🏠

This project involved a full strip and re-cover, ensuring a durable, long-lasting finish for the property.

✔️ Removal of existing roof tiles.
✔️ Installation of sprockets to extend soffit boards – improving ventilation and protecting the masonry render.
✔️ New fibre cement slate roof covering.
✔️ Clay dry ridge system fitted for a maintenance-free finish.
✔️ Anthracite UPVC fascias, soffits, and rainwater system installed.

A clean, modern look with improved performance and protection against the elements. Was also a pleasure to work with 5g Sealants who provided an excellent finish on this job 👏

• 1 Carpenter
• 1 Roofer

About the Role:
• Work is mainly on private residential properties
• Projects are usually within a 20-minute travel radius
• Experience with roof construction is a must
• No CSCS card required
• Self-employed positions
• A van may be provided for the right candidate
• We would also consider a working pair if you are currently teamed up with someone

Haven’t posted for a while so here’s a recent flat roof that we constructed and covered with epdm rubber membrane to finish the week strong in the sunshine.

Got some cracking projects going on atm just trying our best to remember to post 😩😅

Last week work from our roofing division 🔨⚒️

This roof under went complete overhaul of

• chimney removal and new flue installed
• rotten wall plates and rafter feet reinstated
• gable ladder totally removed and reinstalled
• all new upvc fascia’s and soffit and rain water system
• new m shape tiles installed

We are pleased with end result of this roof replacement 😍😍

Wait until you see what our carpentry division been working on got some cracking jobs lined up for summer 🫡

OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN THE TEAM.

Trainee carpenter/roofer wanted

Due to work increase we now require two laborers/apprentices.

We are offering an apprenticeship after an initial one year labouring period, this is to ensure you are serious about the role. There are some criteria we would like you to meet before you apply, due to previous positions not working out in the past…

Please only apply if you are:

✔️Happy to work hard all day in all types of weather.

✔️Early riser

✔️Polite and respectful, find it easy to converse with colleagues and customers of any age, gender and background.

✔️Good with working at heights

✔️Are happy to carry out the one year labor period prior to the apprenticeship.

✔️Although tools will be provided initially, you will be expected to start accumulating your own over time.

✔️Must be able to easily commute to either Coelbren or Seven Sisters to jump in the van with one of us.

Most of our work is local but may be required to travel on occasion.

All ages considered but preferably you’ll have been in some sort of employment/work environment previously.

We are going to let this ad run for a few weeks before making decision

Job opportunity 🙌

We are looking for another to join the team!! Ideally we would like someone with some experience in the following:

🔨 carpentry 1st and 2nd fix duties
🪚structural carpentry, roofs joist and/or timber frame
🪛kitchen fitting
☔️roofing -pitched and flat roofing

All experience level welcome but you will need a driving license and be able to get to and from jobs .

If you are experienced in roofing and have no experience in carpentry but willing to learn.like wise if you are experienced in carpentry and willing to learn roofing, you will be considered!!
May consider a laborer with some experience in the above duties.

You need to be keen to learn / do all duties above. We will consider all so please register your interest via a message

Wages dependable on experience

Our customers come first so good customer service skills a must !!

Work is all local to neath valleys / Swansea valley
But may travel further afield from time to time (not often)

All domestic work and no need for Cscs card
