A beautifully designed kitchen isn’t just about the cabinets, worktops or appliances. The right lighting can completely transform how a space feels.

We designed this stunning handleless kitchen with subtle under-cabinet lighting, bringing warmth and depth to the dark cabinetry, while the statement pendant adds a touch of character above the island.

With handleless kitchens in particular, lighting plays an even bigger role. Without traditional handles to create definition, thoughtful illumination helps create a sense of depth while highlighting the texture, detail and clean lines of the design.

As a family-run kitchen and bathroom business, we believe it’s the finishing touches that make a house feel like home and lighting is certainly one of them.

Neil, our director, is still very much part of the HBC family. Although he has officially retired, he enjoys popping in each morning for a few hours to catch up with the team, see how things are going and, of course, make sure everyone is keeping in order!
