A few key players down due to illness and holidays meant we went away with just 11 players today. The pitch was very wet and muddy which made it hard work.

First half we were slow off the marks playing uphill and struggling with the mud we went into half time at 3-2 down. But as the old saying goes it was definitely a game of two halves. Second half we defended brilliantly, stayed strong in our midfield battles and moved the ball well. We dominated the final quarter of the game with goals coming from around the team.

Big well done to all for their goals and assists

Today's result really didn't reflect the way the lads played. With low numbers and playing away to an unbeaten top of the league rival was always going to be hard. Due to illness and unavailable players we went with only 11. The task was never going to be an easy one but it stop the lads, they dug in, played excellently and created some amazing chances.

Credit where it's due Halesowen Town setup well and played excellently as a team which caused us headaches. They took the early lead, with us getting back into the game early in the second half our legs went and we succeeded a few goals in quick succession! I can't fault the lads at all though they played for the team today and didn't give up until well after the final whistle! 👏🏻

A miserable wet game for the lads today. We started strong with a excellent goal from Victor, smashed into the top corner from 25 yards out! A second shortly after from Roman kept the score level going into half time.

Second half was tough and while we had alot of of opportunities we just couldn't finish. Victor got a third late on but unfortunately it wasn't our day and the scoreline ran away with us as heads dropped.

A tough away day derby game for the lads today. Facing off against Cradley West we went in knowing the challenge ahead of us. We were a couple of players down so had to restructure our line up but unfortunately it wasn't to be for us today! We lost our shape and structure half way into the first half giving away a goal, heads dropped and we never really got back into the game. Going into half time at 2-0 down.

A well organised Cradley West took full advantage and pressured hard. Already short on subs we picked up a number of injuries and energy ran low meaning we conceded two late goals. The lads definitely learnt some hard lessons but I know they are a lot better than today's game and will come back stronger for it!

We always get a hard draw for our cup matches, playing a team 3 divisions higher was never going to be easy! Having said that the lads were extremely impressive.
Certainly in the first half we were the stronger team and dominated the match.

Unfortunately in the second half we dropped our heads after their early goal and just lost some of the structure...

But the teamwork today showed massive improvements, with defenders supporting the GK, goal line clearances, good passes to get the ball forward and some excellent crosses coming in. A little more work to embed this in all positions and the lads will be unstoppable!

2 brilliant goals both came from excellent team play and assists. Huge Well done to all involved in the goals! 👏🏻

First away game of the season and back to winning ways for the lads today. A strong showing meant we took all 3 points in a game that for the large part we controlled with excellent possession and formation!

First half was a well battled affair, but a flair of skill from Max saw him play the ball through beautifully for Roman to secure the first goal. Taking us into half time at 1-0.

Second half we stood strong and scored 3 excellent goals with the spoils going to Roman, Cole and a screamer from Liam that's an early contender for Goal of the Season! Excellent assists for Oli and Roman too! A strong showing from all across the backline with multiple MOTM worthy performances aswell.

You win or you learn and today we learnt... Missing a number of keys players we knew today wouldn't be easy, but a flying start saw Roman take us a goal ahead early on, we played strong to hold the lead, with Kewford leveling shortly before half time. We started the second half strong with a beautiful goal from Victor. The lads dropped their heads and we ended the day 4-2 down.

We still have a number of positives to take away with some excellent communication and lots of lessons learnt. An excellent showing as Captain from Brooklyn ©️ using his voice and giving lots of instruction to control the back line.

Another season complete! Today was all about rewarding the lads for their efforts.
