Some in-house training for us this week! 📖

All things domestic fire, carbon monoxide, and environmental alarms provided by 🔥

This is the third time we have had Aico here to present their "Expert Installer" training. A good refresher for us with updates on changes to legislation, regulations, products, and technology. With our next step to become "Gold Standard" & hold further City & Guilds qualifications.

We wish everyone undertook similar training as so many others would benefit & we would perhaps stop seeing the wrong alarms being installed! 🤔

Out with the old and in with the new!

Replace your 50 watt halogen lights with new 7 watt LED fittings. Simplest way to reduce energy costs at home! As well as replacement lamps and repairs to faulty transformers and lampholders.

We've been using the fittings for some time now as they're so versatile. Wattage and colour selectable, one fitting for many applications with a range of colour bezels to finish.

Fire rated for 90 minutes, suitable for bathrooms, dimmable as standard, meets building reg requirements for moisture, acoustics and energy.

This morning we have had our annual NICEIC assessment which is a requirement of being part of their scheme.

Happy 😃 to say we have passed with flying colours for another year (as expected) 🙌🥳

Part of the assessment is to ensure our policies & insurance is in place and at the correct values required for the work we undertake. 📚

The other part is the assessment of our standard of electrical work and documentation. Which is done by a part office audit & visiting various properties where we have carried out work.👷‍♂️

When looking for an electrician please think about whether they belong to a scheme, such as the NICEIC.
