Its warming up again! 🤩

Here we have a nice little project completed for a repeat customer.

Garden wall replacing tired fencing using reclaimed bricks, cladding to the blockwork garage and slips in the same brick to merge in seamlessly with the wall, to go with a new new circular brick planter.

Beautiful Oak and slate roof pergola, herringbone cobble tiles and path to meet up with previously laid porcelain slabs.

To finish the job off we erected a fantastic looking oak carport using a pantile roof tile which has totally transformed a previously unused area. Resin drive to work with the existing drive.

Breaston Project update

Since our last post, we have made a good start on the landscaping works and internal works.
Ensuite, Bathroom and cloakroom have now been tiled.
Kitchen materials have arrived and our joiners have made a start in readiness for worktop template.
Floors have been self-levelled throughout in preparation for LVT flooring.
Driveway stoned up, approx 70m of fencing going in, pato slabs with edgings, brick planters, turf. Its all starting to come togethe nicely!

Southwell Project Landscaping done

Just in time for the rain to water the grass! now for some sun!

Soil scratched off and levelled with approx 30tonne of grade A top soil 🌳
Two large planters filled with filtration crates and topped with soil for the olive trees to be planted 🌳

turf laid and looking great!

Breaston Project update

Roof felt & lath with PV trays on, followed by completion of the roof tiles with some velux windows installed for good measure.
Underfloor heating pipework laid to provide the property with its heating before poured screed on top.
Once the roof is on and water tight we can get 1st fix electric and plumbing and joinery.
now boarded, skimmed and decoration mist coat in readiness for delivery of kitchen and bathroom installations.

Landscaping starting to take shape with over 110m of fencing, planters, porcelain paving slabs, edgings for driveway. More progress pics in the next few weeks.

Bricklaying Apprentice
LJ General Builders Ltd, based in Newark, are seeking a Bricklaying apprentice.
Providing a full 2-year apprenticeship including College release and other site-specific training.

Working alongside an experienced team with the opportunity to work on varying types of work including general building work, groundworks, mixing mortar, laying bricks and blocks.
Loading out materials, Unloading deliveries, keeping the work area tidy and safe.

No formal qualifications are required for this position, however a keen interest in the construction industry.
