No heating, no problem. After a good video call Thursday night I knew what the problem was (a faulty motorised valve head). That replaced as it was certainly faulty, the fault came about because of a faulty brass valve.
Motorised valve wired up but detached from the brass valve meant the boiler would now fire up if the thermostat asked for heat.
The brass valve was later replaced by an heating engineer.

So with that many people having a go at it, start from the start.... Identify all the cabling and do the wiring centre again......
Turns out it was just a faulty motorised valve head.....

Train station with no heating? No drama.
Was a call out to Manchester Piccadilly station a couple of weeks ago late afternoon. The boilers are under ground and need ventilation. By the time I was at Rotherham, got the call that's it's maybe not only the controls, but the fan motor also so stand down.
One week later armed with relays a contactor and a youth that wants to fulfill his NVQ. We, the heating engineer met with our shaparone and got to work.
New fan on and going the right way.... Always helps.... And with some jiggery-pokery the controls also got going.
They whole system does need renewing at 25 odd years old.

No hot water? No problem. A call out to this care home where the boilers were providing heating, but no hot water. Also the cylinder tanks didn't have immersion heaters, so this became a real priority.
Just a simple fix, a faulty 2 port valve, the hard bit was to get the setting back to normal as someone in the chaos had messed about with the boiler settings. Not the simplest menu to orientate. But red hot water within an hour or so.

Another heating and hot water callout. This time on an electric combi boiler tripping the RCD. All 8 elements all fine, it was down to a slight weep getting the insulation wet and with that touching the elements and cylinder causing the drama. Insulation raked out and away from the elements it's back up and running and referred to an heating engineer.

Anyhow heating and hot water issues. A tripped out ground source heat pump that's now playing the game and then the day after the other heat pump having its own drama..... But another easy fix for the heating engineer.

With Trianco being up the road in Sheffield the customer had one in no time and was shortly back up and running.
