At Jordan Road Surfacing, the road doesn’t end when it’s removed. It gets recycled and reused for the next project.

At our recycling hub in NG22, old surfacing materials are collected, treated, processed and brought back into the industry as reusable materials. From recycled road planings to Type One, 6F5 aggregates and down products, we help keep valuable materials in circulation instead of sending them to landfill.

We are also one of the few facilities in the UK equipped to handle hazardous coal tar road planings safely and responsibly.

Recycling in surfacing is changing the future of construction by reducing waste, lowering environmental impact and creating a more sustainable approach to road building.
At Jordan Road Surfacing’s recycling hub in NG22, old surfacing materials are collected, treated, recycled and reused.

Fully compliant with SHW Cl. 948 and BS9228 standards, materials can be transferred into JRS Re-Cycler Foam, providing a sustainable solution for recycled aggregates and road materials. JRS Re-Cycler Foam is also able to process hazardous coal tar road planings, a capability only a small number of UK facilities can offer.

At Jordan Road Surfacing we have just started our latest project with 8000 m2 of surfacing works now underway.

A strong operation is already in motion with trusted supply chain partners including haulage, planer and sweeper teams all working together to keep the programme running smoothly from day one.

Despite being over 200 miles away from the home office, planning, communication and coordination are already proving key to keeping everything on track.

From Scotland on Friday through to Blackbush London by Monday, the team continues to deliver consistent standards across every stage of the work.
