After months of training, the Gusto Challenge is almost upon us! 💪

This Saturday, the team are heading up to the Peak District to take on the Edale Skyline, which consists of 32.4km of walking with 1,281m of elevation.

We're taking on the challenge to raise money for two great charities: Lincs2Nepal and Orchid - Fighting Male Cancer.

Always happy to support a good cause! 💚

It’s been our absolute pleasure helping HomeStart Newark bring their brand-new uniforms to life alongside our friends at Ruddocks.

The Gusto Community Fund is a charity donation project we started in 2020. We use our profits from the business to support local projects and good causes, with recipients nominated by our employees and Gusto Homes homeowners.

We have donated over £170K to more than 130 charities in in the last 5 years!

We are thrilled our donation has gone towards supporting HomeStart Newark’s incredible team, helping them look the part as they continue their important work supporting families across our community. 👏

A huge congratulations to Sam Atkins, who has recently been promoted to Assistant Site Manager!

Sam has been with us for many years and is currently working over at Easthorpe Green, our development of 2 & 3-bed bungalows and 3, 4 & 5-bed homes in Bottesford.

In his new role, Sam is taking on additional responsibilities around site operations, coordination, site management and helping ensure work continues to be delivered safely and to a high standard. He’ll be working closely with our Site Managers and getting hands-on experience as he develops in the role.

It’s a fantastic achievement and very well deserved. Please join us in congratulating Sam! 👏

32.4km. 1,281m of elevation. 10 hours to complete! 🏔️

Training is well underway for this year’s Gusto Challenge. On Saturday 5th September, our team is taking on the Edale Skyline circuit in the Peak District to raise money for two brilliant causes: Lincs2Nepal and Orchid - Fighting Male Cancer.

To make sure our legs are ready for 10+ hours in the Peak District, the team completed their second practice walk recently, putting another 14.3km of training under their belts.

Inspiring the next generation! 🌟

We recently welcomed Jack and Elsie on work experience with us to give them a real taste of what it's like to work with us. 🏡

Jack spent some time on site, seeing how our developments progress and learning more about the different trades, while Elsie spent some time with Studio G looking into what goes into designing a Gusto Home.

A full-circle moment for our Contracts Manager, Sam, who recently led a site tour of our latest development, The Old School Yard, for students from his former college. 👷‍♂️

We welcomed a group of Level 1 Site Carpentry students from Lincoln College (UK) to see a working site in action.

Having started his own journey studying Joinery at Lincoln, Sam gave the group a practical, real-world look at where a career in a trade can lead.
