"All good things come to an end"

After 4 years as a self employed carpenter I've changed career and JR Carpentry will no longer be trading.
Thank you to all my past customers and those who've helped me during the last 4 years.
Looking back at the pictures posted on here I'm really pleased with the transformations of people's homes that I've helped to create.

Another job completed in Westbury Park where the customer wanted an open plan lounge stairway to be subdivided and a new stairway opening required from the hall. Plastering electrics and plumbing also organised to make the job flow.
The revised layout will make it quieter upstairs for the young family and prevent heat loss up the open stairwell.
Myself and the customers are really pleased with how it turned out.

More oak doors recently fitted including an understairs door which was made from a standard sized door. These are prefinished by the manufacturer so no finishing required which saves time.

New set of stairs installed to replace old and dangerous stairs landing floor reconstructed as the old was in danger of collapse. Stairs supplied by StairBox.com

Kitchen project planned from start to finish with all trades organised to prevent delays .
New electrics installed to bring up to current regs, old loose plaster removed and taken back to brick and drylined . Floor tiled with nice modern porcelain hard wearing tiles removed back to brick. New kitchen installed complete with splashbacks.
From dark dated to a modern bright kitchen...what a transformation!

Happy New Year to everyone who has made 2023 a busy year and to new customers for 2024.

November was a busy month completing a kitchen refit including flooring and skirting boards. Another job was supplying and fitting prefinished Victorian doors including sliding doors utilising a barn door track. The house had previously been subjected to settlement so extra work involved to adjust the frames to provide proper margins around the doors. This attention to detail makes the difference.

18 doors is possibly the most I've ever fitted in one house. These doors are XL joinery suffolk prefinished oak vaneer range.
Customer is really pleased with the results.
