Have you got a fuse box like this at home? If so you could need the house rewiring or indeed a new consumer unit. If you have no paperwork it maybe beneficial to Have a EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) which would give you a good idea of the state of your electrical installation.

Call out to replace burnt out switched fuse isolator. Cause loose cable connections which has ended up arcing and burning out causing fuse to blow.
