Following on from the video we shared a few days ago, here are a few photo close-ups from that recent tarmac drive restoration. ⚫🏡
The driveway itself was in great structural nick, but the surface had faded over time and had significant moss and algae buildup in the more shaded areas.
Before applying the sealer, we spent time hand-taping and masking off all the surrounding block paving. It’s a bit of extra prep work, but hand-brushing and rolling the edges guarantees clean lines and keeps the black restorer off the brickwork. The changing weather meant we had a small window to get this done and meant jumping on it on a Sunday morning with a much needed hand from my partner Rachel at North Staffs Housekeeping
After a deep clean with the pressure washer and biocide treatment to clear out that surface dirt and debris a few days before, we coated the surface with PureSeal Services UK Ltd Tarmac Restorer. It replaces the lost binding resins, brings back that rich black finish, and keeps the tarmac protected from the weather for the next few years.
