We are sooo excited about our latest SOUTH SHIELDS property.
It is in one of our most favourite parts of the town.
The owner approached us on Friday morning last week about our landlord management services, and by Friday night! we had signed the paperwork. A hassle free five year no voids guaranteed rent.
Although we know the owners they are a new landlord to us.
And their place is amazing, just perfect for us.
So in lees then a week we have the photoshoot today with just the finishing touches to do!
In that time we have fully furnished the place, replaced the knackered shower enclosure, re-grouted the bathroom floor, fitted the key box, a HIVE heating controller to make sure we can get the place nice and warm for incoming guests, and all white goods in place, improved the kitchen and 100 Mbps broadband goes live on Friday.
BUT most importantly.
We have installed the correct fire and heat detectors.
Safety is the MOST important priority for Dwellcome Home.
As responsible operators of serviced accommodation AND as an ex-fire and explosion safety engineer we take all aspects of safety very seriously but especially fire safety.
To be legally compliant you must follow the relevant codes and standards.
And landlords must follow the Domestic Fire Alarm Regulations (BS5839-6:2019). This requires landlords to have a smoke detector installed on the escape routes for each floor, a detector in the lounge (or principal habitable room), and a heat detector in the kitchen.
