We have been established since 2000 and have a talented, hardworking design studio which is located on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne. Most of our commissions are within a 75 mile radius, but we will travel anywhere and have done work abroad in France and as far away as Kenya. We tend to get more bespoke type projects but we can design anything from a small house extension through to a large

mixed use development. We pride ourselves on providing a high quality personal service at a competitive price. Our track record with planning consents is very high and that is testimony to what we produce for our clients. BARN CONVERSIONS!!
We get a lot of rural commissions in our office and one of our most enjoyable is turning redundant barns into beautiful family homes!

Due to modern farming methods these buildings are not really fit for purpose and what better way to bring them back to life than creating homes with character and charm!

The build cost is pretty much the same as a luxury new build home, its very sustainable recycling unused buldings.

GOLF DESIGN!!
We are involved in all sorts of golf buildings these days from a £30k half way house - up to a £5million state of the art golf academy and performance centre.

Golf is definitely having a resurgence and its great to see investment going back into improved facilities.

There is a definite change in the future of golf and a shift towards more entertainment and indoor golf simulators making the whole thing a lot more fun and inclusive for all!

We are privileged to be working with 7 different golf clubs at present. ⛳🏌️‍♂️⛳

GOLF ARCHITECTURE! ⛳
This weeks site visit to see how our Golf Academy building is getting on that we designed, its looking fabulous! 😍

The bays are now taking shape with power tees, bay dividers, screens and carpets now going down.

We designed the facility at Matfen Hall to be spacious giving golf customers a higher end experience than you get at most facilities.

It was a dull day yesterday and the range still felt very light and airy. Facing east so you don't get the sun in your eyes throughout the day and evening, and also sheltered from the prevailing wind!

We are really looking forward to this place opening so we can come and practice at the range, adventure golf and short game area! 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️

HOUSE RENOVATIONS!!
We love providing a make-over to our clients houses and here is a one we have been working on!

Options are given to our customers and we explain the benefits of each proposal.
We tend to get budget costs from friendly builders so that we don't progress too far and try to avoid abortive work!

Sometimes costs don't seem to stack up, but the value is often in increased quality of living and enjoyment of your home!

HOUSE CONNECTION WITH GARDENS!
We love designing houses and extensions that allow the occupants to interact with both indoors and outdoors!

Sliding or bi-folding doors help with the access onto a flush paved area, leading to a patio for relaxation and dining!

Kitchens being near the garden with a view are also very desirable.

Beautiful landscaping also adds to the ambience and is good for our well-being, as well as looking stunning and assisting nature.

HOUSE DESIGN! 🏡

We just love designing beautiful homes, this is a design idea to turn an existing dormer bungalow into a 2 storey house!

Extending upwards and rendering the existing brickwork so the finished article looks like a completed house with no mis-matching extensions!

Office design in rural location!

This new build office is in a countryside setting on the edge of a village, the design ethos is taken from historic cart sheds.

These buildings would be found in the grounds of the main country house and would often form an enclosed courtyard!

It will be a pleasure to work in such a lovely environment for the future occupants!

GOLF ARCHITECTURE!!
We are currently receiving lots of Golf related commissions at PJC Architecture Ltd!

These images below are of a Golf Performance Centre we have designed and now has planning permission at The Wisley Golf Club in Surrey!

Good practice facilities are now paramount at any decent golf club!

We currently have a golf academy being built on site at a 5 star hotel/spa/golf facility in Northumberland - photos to follow later this year!
