At Fusion Joinery, we’re incredibly proud to be the main shirt sponsor of Catterick Crusaders RLFC — a club that represents far more than just rugby league.

Based in the UK’s largest Army Garrison, the Crusaders are a true community club, offering opportunities for all ages — from Cubs sessions for 2–6 year olds right through to Masters Rugby League. Their commitment to inclusivity, development, and grassroots sport is something we’re honoured to stand behind.

🌸 Happy International Women’s Day! 🌸

A huge shout out to Kelly, our Operations Manager, for keeping things running smoothly all year round. Her hard work behind the scenes keeps everything organised and on track. Thank you Kelly!

This International Women’s Day we’re also proud to announce that this year we’ll be supporting 19-year-old mountain biker Hollie Vayro.

Hollie has dreamed of becoming a professional rider since she was tiny. When the biking industry slowed after Covid, she realised if she wanted to chase her dream she would have to find a way to fund it herself. So after finishing School, she picked up a trowel and is now a qualified bricklayer spending her day’s on the building site and her evenings and weekends training hard to compete at the top level.

Hollie became U21 British National Enduro Champion at just 16 years old, she kept the title again at 17 and represented team GB in the first Enduro World Championships in Val Di Fassa. This year she is heading to the 6 Day Trans Madeira Enduro, the World Series in Italy, the British Championships in the Isle of Man, and many more races across the UK.

Her hard work, dedication and inspiring attitude are exactly why we’ve decided to give Hollie a helping hand. Good luck for the season, Hollie!

We’re delighted to have received the Contractor of the Month certificate at Robertson Homes Lambton Park site. John was happy to accept the award from Lloyd Tate on behalf of the team and show it off with pride!

This recognition reflects the hard work, dedication, and high standards our team brings to site every day. A huge well done to all of our joiners and the wider team who helped make this happen. Great work from everyone involved!

Fusion are pleased to announce that we now offer crane hire and contract lift services. Our 50T Tadano ATF50 has been part of the fleet since 2025 and is available to support your next lift.

Ideal for steel beams, roof trusses, timber frames, kit lifts, mechanical plant, precast concrete and general site lifting. Our crane is a reliable solution where forklifts or telehandlers aren’t suitable.

Ellis Chilver has been awarded a Green Card!

Our client, Robertson Homes have awarded Ellis a green card for his dedication, commitment, and outstanding work ethic. He’s a valuable member of our team and someone we’re incredibly proud to have on site.

Ellis started his joinery career as a Fusion apprentice, and it’s been amazing to see how far he’s come. Today, he’s not only excelling in his own role but also acting as a brilliant mentor to his younger brother Alfie, who you may remember from our recent post.

Thank you, Ellis, for your hard work, loyalty, and commitment — a great achievement and very well deserved!

Apprentice Spotlight – Alfie Chilver

Our Fusion apprentice Alfie has recently completed the installation of traditional built dormers on the Mitchel Grand at the prestigious Lambton Park Estate for our client, Robertson Homes.

Alfie is hardworking, reliable, and a dedicated team player who consistently produces outstanding work. Achievements like this show exactly why we’re passionate about supporting apprentices and developing talent from the ground up.

At Fusion, we welcome new apprentices each year—not only as an investment in our future, but to bring fresh ideas and skills that help our business grow. It’s fantastic to see young people coming through the construction industry, especially at a time when new talent is needed more than ever.

Here at Fusion Joinery we love backing community groups that really make a difference, and the 1st Gainford Scouts sure do! Seeing the young people trying out their new archery gear is brilliant: big aims, big smiles, and big adventures. The Scouts help children grow, build confidence, and pick up life skills that last a lifetime. They do amazing work, and we’re chuffed to play even a tiny part in the fun!
