Our latest bathroom renovation project in low Fell, Gateshead.
The existing bathroom in this property was dated and very quirky! Shower entrance on the landing, pipe boxing anywhere, access points to pipework etc, made this bathroom renovation in this Victorian period home an exciting challenge. We worked with the customer to design and plan this stunning bathroom. The idea was to create a bathroom that is traditional and matches with the property but with some modern aspects. Both functional and bespoke.
Fully stripped back to the walls.
All pipework first fixed into new positions
Ceiling lowered and boarded.
Ceiling skimmed.
Spotlights in ceiling, wall lights above sink unit.
New extractor fan.
Walls plastered where necessary
Shower area and around the bath tiled.
Floor prepared with cement boards and tiled.
Low profile shower tray, frameless glass panel enclosure.
Mira digital 2 way shower.
Close coupled wc with soft close seat.
Traditional refurbished sink unit with marble sink and back splash. Traditional taps.
Steel bath with traditional taps enclosed with shelves and side of bath panelled.
Ceiling coving added to again keep that traditional look and the room decorated to the highest standard with waterproof bathroom paint. All in all, a stunning finish to this bathroom and we certainly achieved the look we had planned for at the start.

This en-suite was starting to look a little dated and in need of a new look.
Everything was stripped out, the walls and floor prepared for tiling and plastering. New anti slip shower tray installed. Pipework altered for new set up. Ceiling lowered to allow for spotlights and then boarded and cladded with gloss ceiling panels.
Shower area and floor tiled with these classic marble effect tiles. New Mira sport electric shower and sliding door enclosure.
New comfort height toilet with soft close seat.
Chrome towel rail and valves, sink, vanity unit and drawers installed. Walls plastered and painted. New mirror with dimmable light installed to give that finishing touch. All sealed and tested.
A classic and clean look gives this en-suite suite a stunning finish.
