Another full renovation we performed just before the new year. A quick turnaround during the holiday period.

The landlord was in distress after the damage caused by the previous tenant, but we are happy to have restored this great property into a function modern home.

PART 2 ... So we began our journey repairing and restoring this new extension back to a proper finished standard.

PART 1...After inheriting a botched renovation of a recent extension, we had our work cut out for us.

The extension already had serious signs of damp which the previous contractor tried to cover up.

The plastering was atrocious and the walls behind were in no better condition serious work was needed to rectify this before serious issues occured.

No wall was straight and the suspended subfloor was not properly secured in places.

This was going to be one of our toughest projects to date.

At one of our tenanted properties today performing some maintenance on some poorly installed Windows, that was causing damp and draughts throughout the home.

At one of our tenanted properties today performing some maintenance and hard surface repair to the bathroom and kitchen worktops, removing the old grout and bathroom and replacing this with a more flexible waterproof polymer solution to prevent further damage and cracking.

We also resealed the bath, as well as sanding treating and repainting any areas of the ceiling that were damaged.

Finally we sanded and treated the kitchen worktops and give them a fresh few coats of oil.

What a difference it has made. Another happy landlord and tenant.

Recently we have been hard at work with one of our well established clients at Ubisoft Reflections, transforming the floors in their Newcastle office, ready for the transition back into the workplace for many of their employees.
