Special project for a returning customer in Pakenham - we built this bespoke oak pavilion, designed by the customer to his own specifications. We installed a herringbone paved floor using tudor clay blocks to retain a rustic look which complimented the beautiful oak beams. The roof is still to be finished with cedar shingles - once delivered we will be back to put the final touch to this striking unique structure.

Customer in Trumpington wanted to replace his old chain link boundary fencing, which was completely overgrown with brambles etc! We cleared the entire area and disposed of the waste, and created a new boundary fence using KDM panels and timber gravel boards giving a much sleeker and cleaner finish. We also extended a previously installed fence with four new KDM lattice top panels and timber gravel boards. Safe to say the customer was over the moon with the new look, and pleased with the improved security the new fence provides.

Returning customer from Diss (we previously completed a full garden landscape project in the rear garden - photos further down the page!). They now wanted a full driveway re-vamp after completing building works inside the house. We started by removing all existing shrubbery and concrete, installing aco drains and a new soakaway to take away excess water. The customer chose brindle block paving with a charcoal border for contrast, and cotswold buff decorative gravel tied in nicely! We also installed a new concrete boundary fence, and replaced the existing concrete steps with new sleeper steps with charcoal block paving infills.

Two patio jobs in Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket this week. For the first we removed the existing uneven paving and laid a beautiful kandla grey sandstone paving, with two recessed manhole covers to give a clean finish to this sleek patio. The second job was a returning customer (previously completed their fencing). This time we were asked to install a brand new patio area in buff natural sandstone (a personal favourite!). A sleeper retaining border was needed due to the steep incline of the garden. This patio was finished off with cotswold buff gravel to complement the multi-tonal sandstone.

Large fencing job in Kennett consisting of 40 linear metres of double gravel board closeboard fencing - chosen to achieve maximum height for privacy and security from the footpath behind the house. At the side of the property we installed 35 linear metres of half round post and rail fencing with chicken wire to keep the dog and children in without impacting the beautiful countryside views. Customer was so pleased with the works that we were asked to return to fence around the oil tank and provide a new pergola hot tub area, perfect for the enjoying the long summer evenings 🥂 Returning again soon to install a composite decking area at the rear of the property!

Nice job in Mildenhall creating a much more usable space to the rear of the property - we removed the wildly overgrown shrubbery entwined with chain link fencing and replaced it with 6 foot closeboard panels with concrete posts. We reconfigured the line of the fencing to create a hardstanding parking area - a really practical use of surplus space in the rear garden. We also installed a closeboard pedestrian gate for easier access, a new shed base and constructed a new shed at the property. Looking forward to returning in the near future to create a patio and entertaining area ready for the impending arrival of the hot tub! 🥂

Installation of KDM omega curve top trellis panels in Wickhambrook. We also installed two KDM omega curve top pedestrian gates to tie in with the polished look of the panels. Love how these look, nice to see something a bit different, hope JW Tree Surgery&Gardens is as happy as we are :)

Commercial fencing on a newly acquired building plot in Saffron Walden. 60 linear metres of 6 foot finish, closeboard fencing with capping was installed in front of the neighbour's existing fence. We then also installed 20 linear metres of 1.95m finish closeboard fencing creating a boundary with the neighbours on the other side. Looking forward to returning once the building work commences!
