This week I was back on the decorating. Constant smoking for over 40 years had left the ceilings and walls extremely stained in this property.
Started with a sugar soap wash followed by a coat of Zinsser Stain block. Then on to the Emulsion. The change is quite remarkable. The client is extremely happy and has requested more work to be carried out upstairs.

Today is the start of meteorological Spring.

Meteorological spring relates to the warming temperatures from March through May.

Where as astronomical spring relates to the position of the earth in relation to the sun.

As we see the temperature increase we also start to notice the signs in our gardens that Spring has Sprung. Bulbs emerging, birds getting ready to nest and the grass growing lush green again.

Spring has to be one of my favourite times of year after the long cold dark days of winter.

Today I have been able to get in my own garden to start tidying and prepping for some more landscaping. I have 3 trees to plant, a new path to lay and some new borders to install. If you need help with your Green space let me know.

New sleeper base put down today for a Summer House.
The company required 600mm clearance from the fence and proof of a perfectly flat base before commencing installation.

Happy New Year to all my customers past and present.

Last year ended with me requiring surgery to repair an umbilical hernia and my Gallbladder removed. This was closely followed by a virus which knocked me out for some time.

I am happy to say I am back to full strength and really looking forward to looking after your Green Spaces.

I have had a fantastic year and thoroughly enjoyed making or keeping your Green Spaces looking their best.
I have had a few health issues towards the end of this year but hopefully these are now sorted and I will be back with a spring in my step in the New Year.

Today is Green Space Garden Cares 2nd Birthday
After being made redundant at the tender age 54 I decided to try going it alone. I have to say it is the best decision I have ever made.
