I'm doing very little electrical work now, running MESi Studios these days. You can still call me for advice. The other day someone called about a light fitting he had taken down and was replacing with a pendant, it was tripping the circuit. He sent me a photo and I saw the problem sorted, glad to help, no charge, no call out required.
I actually like doing things like that especially since I'm at the studio 40hrs a week.
If we had not sorted it I would have given him Dougie Wraggs number 07900 905200 Select Registered Electrician.

We have another week of good autumn weather and then its back to the usual wet and windy stuff. I managed to get a few outside lighting, and garage supply jobs done in almost perfect conditions, but it would be good to get some inside work for the approaching storms.
One thing that's taken off lately, is changing wall sockets to sockets with usb outlets, could do with a couple of these in Budds Bar.

As usual at this time of year, I'm snowed under with work, but it usually goes very quiet after Christmas. So I will be looking for work and I will be available Sunday - Wednesday on both holiday weeks.
I'll probably do a discounted price on new 17th Edition distribution boards (usually £150 could go £130) Call me on 07932 100965 if you or someone you know may be interested. A new board can increase the value of your property, if you are selling ( surveyors see an old fuse board and lop off a few grand for possible electrical upgrade) and its much safer and easier to work with than old wire or cartridge fuses.

Nothing has come in from the first ad. yet, but I did get some work for the 1st time through facebook, thanks to Emily at Mesi Studios in Kilmarnock, someone who's band rehearses there needed some lights fitted.
