Keys made for bike panniers in the workshop this morning🏍️

After finding a key blank that fitted the lock, we tried using our digital software to help us cut the key, but to no avail.

Instead, with the lock taken apart, we cut each individual cut by eye, eventually allowing us to cut a perfect copy that worked on both locks.

We got called to an old Manor House this week to report of the key jammed in a 1930s sashlock. After a bit of time we were able to remove the key and opened up the lock to find this. They are some form of insect eggs !!
We removed them and cleaned and lubricated the lock which still worked perfectly and may go on to last another 96 years 😄

We were urgently contacted by Nestle today to provide a large quantity of safes, following the major theft of 12 tons of Kit Kat bars in Europe while they were being transported from their factory in Italy to Poland.
Nestle needed secure storage to protect the remaining Kit Kat bars in the UK as there is a serious concern that there may be a Kit Cat Burglar on the loose.

Nick, Ryan, Mike and Marcus took part in the Great Tommy Sleepout last night and raised £675 with gift aid for this great veterans charity.
Paul and Sarah the Newport Pagnell Mayor and Mayoress popped over to our campsite to support us and it was great to see them.
The temperature dropped to 2 degrees overnight with frost on the tents when we woke up, but it was well worth it to raise these funds.
