We visited Sarah recently and when we arrived at the entrance to her house we were greeted and invited in. Nothing strange so far.

As we stepped in Sarah looked at us and said as we were putting in our boot covers “do you mind taking off… oh..they look nice…”

Sarah paused for a moment and said with a smile of gratitude “Thank you, this way please.”

We preemptively did something weather Sarah was going to ask or not.

We do this in every job unless they are having major work done or mats/sheets are down already.

It shocks me to think that most trades people still don’t do this and often have to be asked.

What did your last trade wear on their feet?

John got in contact as he had no WiFi in some areas of the house and in the office in the garden. Now the weather is nice he wanted to be able to take zoom calls outside and in the office.

To achieve this we not only added some hard wired access points around the house but we also used a point to point bridge kit to get the connection in the garden office.

Now John is able to work in the garden office instead of the dining room.
He also now has WiFi in the garden.

Not everyone needs WiFi everywhere let alone in the garden but there is a solution for everyone.

Being a business owner with dyslexia can be a struggle sometimes… but it’s also given me a brain that solves problems constantly — daily, on the fly, and usually including the problems I create myself 😂

I once spent far too long trying to connect a customer’s WiFi before realising I’d typed the password wrong.

Turns out “sole” and “soul” are VERY different words.

Now I just get customers to spell passwords out loud for me first 🤦‍♂️ it text it so o can copy and paste.
