A fresh lawn. A softer edge.

A renewed lawn, a curved timber-edged border and stepping stones give this garden a clearer shape.

Swipe to see the original lawn, the edging being fitted and the prepared ground. The existing hedge and decorative fencing remain part of the garden.

Small space. A noticeable change.

This narrow side passage needed its decking renewed. The sequence shows the old surface, the supporting frame during installation and the completed grey boards from both ends.

A useful reminder that a carefully finished smaller space can make a real difference to the garden.

Privacy, light and a better-looking boundary.

Solid and open slatted sections give this Charles & Ivy composite fencing installation its distinctive look. The combination creates screening while keeping selected parts of the view open.

Swipe from the finished boundary to the original fence and the posts during assembly.

Save this idea for your garden, then send a photo and postcode to discuss a similar layout.

3 metres high. 28 metres long. A complete boundary transformation.

This blue ColourFence installation replaced the old timber fencing, with a bespoke layout around established trees and restricted access to work through.

A challenging project and a finished result I’m proud of. The wide views show the transformation, while the close-up gives you a better look at the finish.

From tired decking to a fresh finish.

A decking renewal, from the worn timber surface to the finished teak-tone composite boards.

The installation sequence also shows protective tape over the timber joists before the new boards went down. It is a useful detail to discuss when planning a deck, as well as the colour and layout you see on top.

A smarter frame for the garden.

A charcoal composite boundary, seen up close and in the wider garden. The dark posts and woodgrain boards create a clean backdrop for the planting.

These are three views of the same installation, including the board finish. The existing paving and planting stay in the background.

Planning a fencing upgrade? Send your postcode, a boundary photo and approximate measurements.

Clean lines. A considered finish.

Horizontal slatted timber fencing and matching gates bring a consistent finish around this raised patio. The boards continue around the corners and into the gate, keeping the whole boundary visually connected.

Swipe from the finished result through the original railing and installation stages. The existing patio and pergola are background; this project features the fencing and gates.

Thinking about a similar boundary? Send a photo of the space, your postcode and approximate length.
