☀️ Constantine Bay installation completed today 👌🏼
Our client wanted a modest-sized, easy-to-monitor renewable energy system that delivered maximum value within budget for their holiday let bungalow — and that’s exactly what we delivered.
The system features a MyEnergi Libbi 3.68kW inverter paired with 2 x 5.12kWh batteries, providing over 10kWh of energy storage. This setup will significantly reduce reliance on expensive grid electricity, lower carbon emissions, and help protect against future energy price increases.
To maximise self-consumption and reduce oil usage, we also installed a MyEnergi Eddi Smart Hot Water Controller. Any excess solar generation is diverted to the immersion heater, allowing solar energy to heat the property’s hot water instead of exporting it back to the grid.
With the bungalow fully booked throughout the summer, our client also wanted to offer EV charging for guests. We installed a Zappi Glo charger integrated with M***a, allowing charging costs to be automatically managed through a simple payment app.
On the roof, we fitted 10 x 450W JA Solar All-Black Bifacial panels, delivering 4.5kW of generation capacity while maintaining a clean, sleek appearance. For a property of this size, the system will make a substantial impact on annual energy consumption.
Although not our largest project, this installation will make a huge difference to the client. As with every job we complete, no corners were cut. Quality components were used throughout, including AC & DC surge protection, an interlinked Aico smoke detector, hardwired internet connections, and neatly installed trunking throughout.
