This dormer roof was in urgent need of replacement. It was sloping back toward the tiles, leading to water ingress in the bedroom below. We removed the existing roof covering down to the original joists, then installed firring strips on the joists to ensure proper water drainage toward the front. After that, we fitted 18mm OSB boards and completed the job with a two-layer felt roofing system.

We had the pleasure of working on this stunning home in Mawgan Porth. The client requested a two-layer felt system. A glass balustrade will be installed, followed by decking. To ensure a sleek finish, the client opted for a liquid plastics coating on the exposed outer edge, as it will remain visible. Another very happy customer

Here’s another roof that was severely damaged in the storm just before Christmas.

We installed a vapour barrier layer, followed by torch-on insulation boards, which were securely glued and mechanically fixed using washers and screws. We then supplied and fitted a two-layer Garland Viking felt system, finishing it off with a sleek 100mm dark grey Paptrim for a modern touch.
