We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tractor Operator to join our team based near Newquay. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating tractors and other machinery to assist with forage, slurry tasks and hedge trimming. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, as well as the ability to maintain equipment and perform essential agricultural duties.

Responsibilities

Operate tractors and machinery, including umbilical, balers, hedge trimmers and forage wagons.
Maintain and service equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Workshop duties and routine services
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling tools.
Qualifications

Proven experience operating tractors or similar machinery is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively.
Familiarity with ag maintenance practices.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Good time keeping
A valid driver's licence is required for operating vehicles
