Off with with the old and back on with the old 😜

Full strip and re-fit of the original Delabole 24x12 slates. With a few reclaimed to make up the numbers.
Whilst we were at it we gave it comfort later of TLX Gold insulation and secondary layer of breathable felt for belt and braces job. And a stunning lead roof vent from. and roofing work by

Coach House project.
Update : Site clearance.

Our first in-house development of a c1845 Victorian coach house. We obtained the building as part of a larger period property purchase.

Originally built as stables and coach house to service the owners of the Victorian villa. But in recent years falling into severe disrepair.

With a documented planning history of well over 40 years from previous owners.
It was finally approved with conditions with input from local conservation officers and heritage statements for conversion and restoration for a 2 bed home with rear extension.

Following some of the planning conditions will be :

Reinstatement of traditional hardwood sash windows.

Lime Pointing and render to match existing

Reclaimed Delabole slate roof to match with existing.

Rainwater and external vent ducting to be of sympathetic and approved materials.

Our aim is to Combining new and old to achieve a beautiful home.
