👍🏻 No big deal for us, it’s nothing we haven’t seen before. Common in the 70’s this glued pipe is a common problem going brittle and cracking over time.

💧 After sending us an SOS we attended same day to measure the pipe size and carried out repair the following morning. You could say we’re Heroes, but not just for one day 🔧

❗️“ITS BEEN SERVICED BY THE SAME COMPANY EVERY YEAR”❗️

We hear this all the time but are they doing it properly❓

🚩 This boiler was a massive red flag as soon as we looked at it. Flue held together with tape and incorrect screws, broken door seals and dodgy electrics. We only attended to fit an electric shower but couldn’t ignore this after seeing it.

🧐 After some investigation we used our flue gas analyser to check the condition of this boilers flue and shockingly there was carbon monoxide coming back into the boiler💀

🔧 After stripping it we found flue seals had been out of place ever since installation, this should have been picked up on routine servicing along with the door 🛠️
