All at Turley Bros were saddened to learn of the passing of Michael ‘Big Mick’ Turley on Thursday.

A legend of the local bricklaying trade, and a much loved father, grandfather and brother.

We extend our deepest sympathy to Fergal and Gail, and the wider family circle at this time.

Funeral mass will take place at 11am Monday 20th April in St Colman’s Church Shinn.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Adam Hegarty this week. Turley Bros will be closed today as a mark of respect and to attend Adam’s funeral.

Grandson of Oliver Turley, a key member of Turley Bros for many years, and family connections still within the business, our thoughts are with everyone at this extremely difficulty time.

Hegarty (Saval, Newry) died suddenly 6th December 2025. Adam RIP. Much loved son of Noel and Caroline and brother of Jack and Ellen. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

His remains will repose at his home, 15A Rock Road from 7.30pm tonight (Monday) until 9pm, and tomorrow Tuesday from 1pm until 9pm. Parking and shuttle bus from McCarthys, 9 Rock Road, BT341PL. Access to Rock Road only via Turmore Road, and exit via Turmore Road only please. Requiem mass will take place in St. Colman’s Church Shinn on Wednesday at 11:30am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing mother, father, brother, sister, grandparents Brendan and Peggy; and Oliver Turley. Aunts, uncles, cousins, family circle and many friends.
