Powerflush Monday! This central heating system was pretty filthy - lots of oxidation in the system. Post flushing gained a general heat increase to the radiators of 10celsius and much less variance between the bottoms and tops of all radiators.

Inhibitor added at the end to help keep the system clean and minimise oxidation.

Old and busted replaced with new and shiny

So working life is busy! These days I’m plumbing all the time and running down the handy man side of things. Gas Safe learning is going fantastically.
With all this in mind I’m gearing up to promote plumbing and heating services as a sole venture and as such I will be changing the business name - to what I currently have no idea although I’ve been thinking about it for a couple of months! But it will happen - sometime! Any ideas out there? Don’t be shy! 🙂

Old shower door was getting tired and black at the seals. As well as the tray edging peeling back showing black rotting adhesive. New shower door in. Shiny 😊

So now I’ve got my plumbing qualification that side of things is building up nicely. Annnd I’ve recently been chatting to a local plumber who is not far from retirement and is going to mentor me through the requirements needed for gas boiler installations so I can ultimately gain my Gas Safe registration. Very exciting times! 😁
