An unexpected morning yesterday when our team arrived on site opposite Paignton Train Station (Tuesday 21st July).

Fire fighters had already been deployed and tackling a fire in the station buildings.

Our team was asked to assist by the Fire Incident Commander.

Our excavator was already on site and our MD/ Machine Operator, Sam Gilpin, took up the challenge. We were able to remove the building canopy to allow fire fighters direct access to dampen the flames.

Proud of our team’s contribution and a great effort by the local fire department who successfully extinguished the fire.

A few shots from our recent project in Brixham. Our team has been dismantling ‘The Accumulate’ vessel over the last couple of weeks, deploying a floating boom system to contain debris as our excavator worked from the quay to deconstruct the ex-fishing vessel piece by piece for safe disposal.

Last weekend the Newton Abbot team took part in the Devon County Ladies Skittles Championships in Holsworthy. They won 2 games and successfully made it to the semi finals with another success of individual player winning Devon Ladies Individual Skittles Champion.
