Customer was complaining that they had no heat, asked the customer plenty of oil. On arrival, reset the thermostat burner, but it sounded like they had no oil, tried to bleed the unit and nothing came out, checked the oil filter, and well it answered my question….Kerosene doesn’t freeze until about -40c.

If your oil line heating system "freezes" at temperatures closer to 0c , it is almost always due to one of the following reasons rather than the kerosene itself freezing:

Water Contamination: This is one of the most common causes in winter. If there is water in your tank or fuel lines (from condensation or contamination), that water will freeze at 0c, creating ice blockages in the pipes or filters.
