Climber/Arborist Position Available in East Lothian

We are a well-established tree surgery company in East Lothian seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. The role involves comprehensive tree and hedge work for both domestic and commercial clients.

Key Requirements:

Experienced in all aspects of tree pruning and sectional felling.
Proficient in hedge cutting and reductions.
A 'can do', positive, and hard-working attitude.
Commitment to delivering arboricultural works to exacting standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong initiative and reliability.
Up-to-date tickets and relevant experience.
Trailer license desirable.

Additional Information:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (40-hour week).
Salary: £24,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience).
Driving license and own transport required to reach the business location daily.
Based in North Berwick, East Lothian.

Well established, East Lothian based tree surgery company requires experienced Tree Surgeon / Climber.

This role involves carrying out all aspects of tree & hedge work for a range of domestic and commercial clients across the East Lothian and Edinburgh area.

Successful applicants must be conscientious with initiative and a can do attitude as well as the ability to work both on their own and as part of a team.

Daily Tasks Include:

Carrying logs and branches and processing these through woodchippers.
Carry out all tree work operations including felling, crown reductions and hedge trimming.
To liaise with clients and customers as part of a team.
Hedge cutting and tidying up to a high standard.
Drive vans and tow woodchippers.
Use stump grinders and other machinery.

Experience Required:

At least 5 years climbing experience
Full UK driver and towing licence
Candidates must be based in the East Lothian area and will require their own transport to get to the business location on a daily basis
