Here are a few simple things you can do beforehand to help things go smoothly 🔧🏠

💡 Make the area accessible
Clear the space around your boiler, radiators, or the issue so the engineer can get straight to work.

🔥 Note down the problem
Try to remember when it started, what you noticed, and if anything makes it better or worse.

📸 Take photos if possible
Useful if the issue comes and goes before the visit.

📍 Check your stopcock location
Just in case water needs to be turned off quickly.

⚡ Make sure someone is home

Struggling with low boiler pressure? 😕🔧 It’s one of the most common issues we get asked about — and usually there’s a simple reason behind it.

Here are a few of the most common causes:

💧 Small water leaks – even tiny leaks in the system can slowly drop pressure over time
🔧 Radiator bleeding – releasing air from radiators can sometimes lower pressure
⚙️ Faulty pressure relief valve – may be letting water out when it shouldn’t
🚰 Recent boiler service or repair – pressure often needs topping back up afterwards
📉 Natural drop over time – systems can slowly lose pressure without an obvious leak

If your boiler keeps losing pressure, it’s worth getting it checked properly — it could be a sign of something that needs attention.
