One of our current projects we have been working on, phase 2 in for planning this week, but this will be some transformation of these farm buildings.

Great work by the team at Archend Visuals once again!

We hope everyone had a lovely Easter holiday break. Back to it with another exciting barn conversion project we’ve had the pleasure of supporting with our CGIs.

This development by Temple Development Specialists designed by ModArc LTD , is still in its early stages, but it’s already shaping up to be something special. Our role was to create exterior visuals that bring the proposed vision to life for investor presentations, with the images later supporting marketing as the project progresses.

In total, we produced four images from different angles. This one is the hero shot, featuring a warm, inviting interior set against a dusk setting.

Looking forward to hopefully supporting this project further as it moves ahead and developing more marketing visuals along the way.

PLANNING PERMISSION GRANTED

We have secured planning permission on this characterful cottage in the centre of Charmouth, Dorset.

Located in the centre of the conversation area of Charmouth and sandwiched between listed building, this required a sensitive design.

The extension will house a new dining area and link to the garden. The kitchen will be relocated into the existing dining room, with a full renovation of the existing property.

Looking forward to working with on this project.

PLANNING PERMISSION GRANTED

We have successfully obtained planning permission for the renovation, extension and modernisation of this 1970’s property in Charmouth, Dorset.

Feeling somewhat of a time warp, perched on the top of the hill, this property is going to have a new life and a reconfiguration of its floor area with an extension to infill the front roof slope.

The rear elevation is going to be refaced with new glazing and external wall insulation, making the most of the view and protecting the building from the elements.

This will be another great transformation.

Keep an eye out for updates on this one next summer as we now move on to the building regulation stage.

🏡✨ Exciting progress at our building project in Charmouth, Dorset! 🌊

The first layer of the roof covering is on, paving the way for battening, solar panels, and stunning cladding set to go up in the new year. Inside, we’ve tackled the first fixes with plumbing, electrics, MVHR, and even a misting system installed. The walls are all plyed, prepped for recessed skirting boards, and the windows are in! We’re thrilled to share that the majority of the house is now plasterboarded, ready for skimming in the next couple of weeks. 🛠️🔧

The brickwork is looking sharp, and we can’t wait for the impressive reveal in the new year! 🎉 Plus, our bespoke furniture, kitchen, and staircases are all under construction in the workshops.

APPROVED

We have successfully obtained class Q for a local developer. Previously approved under the older regulations, we have successfully increased the number of units from 2 to 4 units under the new regulations. This is part of a 3 phase approach on the site, with potentially up to 7 units on the site.

These will be some stunning 3/4 bedroom homes set in an idyllic countryside location over looking the Somerset levels.

We have successfully gained outline planning permission for the demolition of the existing outbuildings and construction of a new dwelling.

The client is looking to sell the property and wanted to maximise the potential of the site. So outline planning permission for a selfbuilder to design their own property.

COMPLETED PROJECT

This was a project we designed for a client, to create a stunning open plan space, integrate the garage and create an additional bedroom.

COMPLETED PROJECT

Here is a development we have just completed , working in collaboration with Sikka Developments LTD.

We were approached by our clients to source a site for them with some development potential, this bungalow had planning for a new 4-bed bungalow adjacent to the original. My client purchased it and we secured planning for 2x 3-bed bungalows transforming the GDV and making the site viable.

We have run this project through to completion for our clients who have had a hands off approach. We have taken this for dealing with estate agents and working with agents to sort out title splitting, through planning and building regulations, through to project managing and now working with agents to sell.

Hands off investments work well for our client who lived away and works full time.

Using local companies with providing the timber frame on both new builds and new extension, sorting out all the windows and doors on all three properties.

With high levels of insulation, air source heat pumps, solar panels, EV charging points, silicon render and composite cladding these are low Maintanence and future proofed bungalows ready for their new owners.

Perched on top of the hill with stunning views across to Golden Cap, this non-standard bungalows life is nearing the end.

We have submitted planning for this contemporary new build using a SIPs construction with all renewable features, future proofing this house for decades to come!
