Sunny surveys ☀️

Wowsa, the start of Autumn has been so busy! From beautiful period properties to contemporary homes, big builds and modest, cost efficient alternatives.

I haven’t taken my foot off the gas and I have loved every minute of meeting new clients and working on projects! I’m having a week off soon and then a busy run up to Christmas.

New enquiries have taken a bit of a back seat but delivering bespoke projects in timescales I’ve committed to will always take priority.

Some lovely new followers!

Hello, I’m Lauren and I look after the architectural side of CLM Design from marketing/admin to quotations, concept designs to building regulations and everything in between!

It’s super busy with work booked in almost to the New Year so I’m taking a little break from new enquiries to fully focus on my scheduled design work and new projects starting.

Lovely to be so busy and thank you to everyone who thinks of CLM Design and is interested in our little business!

A busy busy summer with lots of work but some nice moments in between!

The run into Autumn is booming with projects including a former post office, multiple lofts, extensions, conservation homes, remodels and a big commercial scheme which is seeing me chocca block until Christmas!

I love this stage where the stud work is in place and you can see the potential of the rooms taking shape.

This is a conservation area so the design needed to fit with the area and be in keeping with the street.

I didn’t really want mirrored windows but getting there with the 3D software!

This is a 50/60’s house that was boxy and already surrounded by town houses so instead of a standard loft conversion we’ve opted for a ‘penthouse’ feel.

The existing external materials need an uplift so we’re considering larch cladding running in differing directions and retaining the existing render and brickwork.

Sea views are going to be the ultimate bonus from the rear 🌊☀️

So that’s me totally booked up for summer in terms of projects and design availability.

If there are any clients that need revisions/advice/building regulations or planning applications, this can be picked up in September.

New enquiries, I’ll get back to you and see how I get on scheduling calls etc.

It’s actually pretty jam packed with work but I’m hoping for a few days off here and there.

It was my idea to book a couple of weekends camping 🫠 what was I thinking!!

Lovely kitchen diner extension with shower room and utility space (so much height and light).

Extension over the garage with vaulted ceilings and loft conversion to create a master bedroom with fantastic views, dressing and en suite shower room.

This was a big project for the family but it had given them so much more space for their family.
