Salary: £28,516.80 – £31,200 per year (OTE)

DRA PAT Testing is looking for a reliable, hardworking and professional person to join our growing team.

Were an established and highly recommended PAT testing company, based in North Tyneside and working with businesses and organisations throughout the North East.

Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given

Starting salary: £28,516.80 per year (£13.71 per hour) After successful probation: £30,160 per year (£14.50 per hour) Potential earnings: £31,200 per year OTE (£15 per hour equivalent)

Time and a half for weekend work * 45p per mile mileage allowance for business travel * 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays * Additional paid Christmas shutdown * Private medical insurance * Full training and ongoing support

You must live in North Tyneside or the immediate surrounding area and hold a full UK driving licence with your own reliable vehicle

Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
Professional, friendly and confident dealing with customers
Physically capable of a role involving regular walking, bending, kneeling and working at floor level
Able to work independently and manage their time effectively
Comfortable using basic technology and completing digital reports

What does the job involve?

Youll visit a variety of businesses, offices, schools and other organisations throughout the North East, carrying out portable appliance testing and completing digital reports.

You'll often be working independently, so youll need to be organised, dependable and comfortable communicating with customers.

Every day is different, and youll be representing DRA PAT Testing while working at our customers premises.

Experienced PAT Testing Subcontractor Wanted – North East England

DRA PAT Testing is looking to establish a working relationship with an experienced, reliable, self-employed PAT testing engineer based in the North East.

We’re an established PAT testing specialist with a strong reputation for quality, professionalism and customer service. We’re looking for someone who shares those values and would be interested in supporting our existing engineering team with additional work as required.

We’re looking for someone who:

* Has proven experience carrying out commercial PAT testing independently.
* Takes pride in thorough inspections, accurate testing and professional reporting.
* Is reliable, presentable and comfortable dealing directly with customers.
* Is happy to work to DRA’s established procedures and quality standards.
* Is willing to use our reporting systems and represent DRA professionally, including wearing agreed company-branded clothing.
* Has suitable qualifications, equipment and insurance.
* Is based in Newcastle, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland or the surrounding area.

Work would be offered on an agreed subcontract basis, depending on availability and business requirements. There are no guaranteed hours or minimum workload.

We’re not simply looking for someone to complete tests. We’re looking for someone we can trust to represent our business and maintain the standards our customers expect.
