We recently have completed and EICR on a Block of Flats and found this, it doesn't look to much to start with but after stripping it down it shows that this could have easily turned into a fire.
We are surprised it already hadn't.
This shows the importance of getting an EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Roport) done.
