House at Ainderby Steeple. Completed and decorated early this year, a three bed bespoke commission designed to be both modern and dramatic yet to present a traditional face to the village it joins.
The three gabled design was intended to subtly reflect the Victorian school at the far end of the village and the brick detailing picks up many of the local features.
All building work was by Padget Construction Ltd of Thirsk, to an extremely high standard as can be seen in the photos.
Structural design by Structural and Civil Consultants Ltd, of Northallerton.
The steel staircase is pictured earlier on these pages.

A recently completed project in Northallerton. Rear extension to form family room linked to kitchen. A clean, contemporary interior with a fairly traditional exterior to match the house, with subtle references to the idea of an Orangery.
Built by Thompson and Pratt of Northallerton.
