Today we upgraded a consumer unit to accommodate new circuits and give all round improved protection.

- Consumer unit upgrade from today.

After completing an electrical condition report for a landlord, several issues came to light that needed to be resolved to bring the property up to a better standard and more importantly, make it safe.

The original installation had several fuse boards still using fuse wire as circuit breakers. We migrated all circuits into one new 18th edition board with all circuits now protected by RCBOs.

Along with this the main earths were upgraded and a SPD was fitted, making this future proof for years to come.
