Some recent pictures from some vegetation management carried at a livery yard in Emberton.
The task was to flail mow all the self set Black Thorne ,brambles ,thistles etc that had encroached into the fields back to the hedge line in so doing increasing the grazing area and to stop any further encroachment.

Here is a collection of photos of some of the work I have completed recently ,we reduced all the trees & hedges and removed self set Elder Trees back to the original fence line , we then removed all the old barbed wire & fence posts.
I then used a flail mower to level all the brambles nettles thistles etc to ground level and leave it nice & tidy.

Saturdays little task. Part 1

Equestrian centre/livery.

To strim all the ditches as requested and all along the fence lines & the ménage , around the pond & the soak away - 8 hrs later and in scorching heat mostly completed.

We don't just cut grass & look after vegetation we also help people to help them selves 🙂 Recently I refurbished this John Deer mowing deck for a client , the rear hanging bracket broke free ,something that apparently occurs with these Ride on mowers, anyway I rewelded the bracket back in place then gave the deck a good power wash and a repaint with rust killer red oxide and top coat gloss paint also sharpened the blades and replaced them ,now already for collection by one happy lady 💥

First cut of the new woodlands planting areas and what a Loverly day for it too using a 4x4 quad bike and a 1.2mtr tow behind flail mower everything worked fine with great results.Moving forward this will be completed on a regular basis the aim is to keep it short so that when Autumn arrives I will Change the flail blades to hammer blades and lower the flail right down so that it scarifies the ground ready for wild flower seeds to be scattered between the rows.
