We are delighted to have handed over our first cheque to KidsAid today thanks to the fundraising efforts of a number of employees.

KidsAid is a Charity based in Northamptonshire that aim to help young people overcome traumatic events. They do so by providing Play Therapy, Art Therapy and Drama Therapy, as well as Protective Behaviours work and Child/Adult Relationship Counselling.

We would like to take a moment to thank Ray and Laura from our Health & Safety team for organising the second Working Well Together group event, a couple of weeks ago.

Participants took part in a mock trial event which was set in a real court environment and included practising Solicitors. The aim of the day was to help people within the construction industry better understand just how important it is to have the best health and safety practices.

Throughout the last two years we have been raising money in order to name and sponsor our very own Guide Dog puppy and are proud to have now reached the £5000 required in order to do this.

We recently invited a representative from the Guide Dogs down to our Brackmills office so we could present a cheque to them and were kindly visited by Felicity, Lorna and her Guide Dog Smithy.

We had a number of name suggestions for the puppy but have decided to go with ‘Digger’.

We would like to give a special thank you to Samantha for making cupcakes and to everyone who took part in our miniature games!
