L&G Scaffolding has been called out to a number of emergency leaks in the last few weeks, all of which could have been avoided with some early maintenance.

We had a conversation with a roofer recently who described his frustration with a recent scaffold not erected by L&G, which required his workers to stretch an extra couple of inches to reach the gable end of a house.
This might seem minor….but over stretching can be dangerous, is unhealthy and can lead to accidents and injuries.

At L&G we have an outstanding reputation with our roofers for building scaffolds exactly how they are needed.

We had LOTS of enquiries this week about a job we were on, scaffolding an old snooker hall for upcoming works. Local residents wanting to know what the building would be used for.
Sorry guys, we don’t know what the long term plans are for this Hellesdon site, other than it will become three units.
On the plus side, we are actually Hellesdon residents ourselves so only a short drive home! 😃😃

With the significant drop in weather - it is worth checking your loft space for condensation, especially if you keep any treasured items up there.
Roof vents can reduce the issue, as does sufficient insulation.
For home owners and private renters on low income there are grants available for roof insulation.
