For this project at Whitlingham Hall, the aim was to design a bespoke interior that honoured the grand proportions of the original library while introducing an elegant, highly functional kitchen and living space. With its generous ceiling heights, large windows, and striking period features, the room called for a carefully considered joinery scheme that complements the historic character rather than competes with it.

A well-designed centre island is often the heart of the kitchen, and it’s the finer details that make it truly work for everyday living. Deep fill drawers have become especially popular, offering generous, easy-access storage that keeps everything from pots and pans to small appliances neatly organised without the need to bend or rummage through cupboards. In this project, we created a bespoke drinks cabinet for the dining area, incorporating integrated appliances, custom wine racks, and glass-fronted cabinetry.
