After a long list of issues and non conformities along with access being difficult it was decided to swap out the current distribution board with a new one in a new location. Due to the restaurant needing to be open we are having to move a few circuits over at time

Back to test a property we carried out a partial rewire on back in 2017. Nice to see we did a tidy install!

Plans being drawn up for a new fire detection system and emergency lighting we are currently installing in a care home conversion

Its quite often that we walk into an installation which some bits are questionable or something we wouldn't necessarily do.

But this install is one of the worst we have seen... it only came to light when we were called in because the electrician who carried out the work wouldn't offer any paperwork or answer the client.

This is just some of the items we found when we arrived. The client wasn't local so they had no idea how it had been left and were told it's ready for decoration.

What we were really surprised about was that the contractor had put their logo sticker on the consumer unit!!

Unfortunately the only resolution was to rewire the majority of the property again.

There live conductors accessible everywhere through out, broken final ring circuits, no cpc on accessories, cpc used as live conductors and the list just continues
