Check out this recent transformation in NR7. We said goodbye to the dated Artex patterns and hello to a flawless, modern finish. It’s amazing how much bigger and brighter a room feels once that ceiling is skimmed!

If your house was built or decorated before the year 2000, that Artex could contain asbestos. Before we get the trowels out, it’s vital to get it tested.

You can grab an asbestos testing kit on Amazon for a few pounds.
They are incredibly easy to use at home.
You simply take a small sample, pop it in the prepaid envelope, and get your results back from the lab.

Tired of wiping condensation off your walls every morning? Most solid-wall properties in Norfolk struggle with cold spots that lead to black spot mould.
In this video, I’m testing Spray Cork. Look at the difference:
❄️ Bare metal = Instant heat transfer (and ice melt).
🛡️ 2 coats of Spray Cork = A thermal barrier that keeps the surface warm.

​The Secret Sauce? * Sprayed Cork: I applied a layer of natural cork spray to create a thermal barrier that kills the chill and stops condensation in its tracks.
​The Finish: Followed up with a bespoke plastering job for those crisp, smooth lines you see in the "after" shot.

I’m unavailable on Fridays, and occasionally Mondays, as I take my father for his treatment.
I’m still working the rest of the week as normal and replying to messages — just a little slower on those days.

I’ve been looking forward to a bit of much-needed downtime this Christmas, spending quality time with family, slowing things down, and appreciating the simple things that really matter.
It’s been a good reminder of how important home, comfort, and loved ones are — especially at this time of year.
