This could have ended in disaster!
We were called to carry out an EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) — but instead we found this.
The main incoming cables were so severely damaged that they were melting, leaving dangerous burn marks and creating a major fire risk.

This was immediately reported to the National Grid for urgent action.
No inspection could be carried out.

If you ever notice signs of overheating, melted cables, a burning smell, or anything unusual with your electrics, you must report it immediately.
This is a real danger to life!
