I’ve had this for a few days now and I can’t think of bad thing to say about it. It’s always handy having a pipetube and with new features like a PVC lining it just makes it the pipe tube to have in my opinion.

Hi everyone,

Here are two IP rated outdoor sockets I’ve installed this morning.

This job had its challenges as one of the ring circuits we were extending had a break in its live conductor. Usually this is an easy fix as these faults can be found easily. But a kind kitchen fitter had blocked access to a socket outlet where the fault lay.

The customers were really understanding and we had to downrate the circuit from 32a to 20a to insure the cable isn’t going to be overloaded

I suppose this really stresses the importance of making sure all tests are carried out before altering any circuit.

Today’s fire hazard!
Here we’ve had a poorly terminated cable feeding an immersion heater with a socket spurred off of it in 1.5mm flex cable (this cable is undersized and could cause a fire).
2 faults in such a small space.

Luckily we caught this one in time before the worst could of happened.
