We are delighted that our client has received planning and listed building consent from Mansfield District Council for a replacement shop front for a Grade II listed building in Mansfield town centre. Hoping to receive a grant from the National Lottery funded Mansfield Townscape Heritage Project.

Building Survey recently carried out at St Peter's Church Hall in Cleethorpes. 1930's building with lots of cast concrete and asphalt roofs. Within a Conservation Area but not listed. Managed to resist the temptation to get Fish and Chips for lunch! Looking forward to working with the client on a scheme of repairs and alterations.

Following theft of the lead from the nave roof at St Swithin's Church, our clients Baumber PCC are hoping for a positive outcome to the planning application for re-covering the roof using terne-coated Stainless Steel. Due to lack of insurance cover they are having to fund the work themselves, and the high risk of future theft means that replacing with traditional lead is simply too risky.

A planning application has been submitted to recover part of the roof of St Swithins Church, Baumber, which was targeted by lead thieves in December 2019.

The lead investigator has spoken of the damage caused by a gang of four thieves that stripped lead from dozens of churches across Lincolnshire and other counties after they were jailed for a combination of more than 22 years.
